Artwork for Live N' Breathe, second draft. (myspace.com/livenbreathe)
I am much happier with the new direction.

Update: Client is thinking about changing the title altogether, which means I get to come up with something completely new. Yeay.

"Geese are but Geese tho' we may think 'em Swans; and Truth will be Truth tho' it sometimes prove mortifying and distasteful."
-Benjamin Franklin

Memory

The means of defense against foreign danger historically have become the instruments of tyranny at home.
-James Madison

Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.

Happy Easter!

America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves.

Reflections at the Pool

Think left and think right and think low and think high. Oh, the thinks you can think up if only you try!
Theodor Seuss Geisel.

Magnolias are pretty, too.

First picture I ever took with a large format camera. How cool are those! I will purchase one myself as soon as I can. Ansel Adams, watch out!

DC Twilight

Here are some pictures I took in DC the other day. It was the first time that I was messing around with long time exposure on the new digital camera I am using, but I think they turned out fairly well. I am planning on giving it another shot soon, weather permitting.

Ask yourself whether you are happy and you will cease to be so.
John Steward Mill.

Portraits

So, I was going through my pictures and found some fun portraits I took.. Here are a few of them; more to come...

For this one I used Kodak 125 PX film, definitely one of my favorite films to work with.

That Website.

I finally managed to get the new Live N' Breathe website up and running. Luckily, my client seems pretty happy with it. Check it out and let me know what you think!

Red Flowers are pretty.

Photomerge: I used four different photos for this image.

I hold it, that a little rebellion, now and then, is a good thing, and as necessary in the political world as storms in the physical.
-Thomas Jefferson

Reflections

White as Snow.

Well, that's what they told us...

As a nation, we began by declaring that "all men are created equal." We now practically read it "all men are created equal, except negroes." When the Know-Nothings get control, it will read "all men are created equal, except negroes, and foreigners, and catholics." When it comes to this I should prefer emigrating to some country where they make no pretence of loving liberty — to Russia, for instance, where despotism can be take pure, and without the base alloy of hypocracy.
-Abe Lincoln
